After graduation, I went to the University of Washington and graduated in 1969 with a teaching degree.  I taught in Federal Way for three years.  I married Virgil in 1973 and we bought a house in Tacoma's North End...we are still there!  We adopted our oldest son, David,  in 1979 and the next son, Jim, in 1982...eight months later I had our third son, Peter and surprise, surprise..I had Jonathan in 1986.  He is the 2005 Stadium graduate in the picture. 

I substituted in a couple of school districts for two years and then I taught at Annie Wright for six years, up until David was 18 months old and then I "took off a couple of years"  which lasted until last year!  Last year I worked half time at McCarver Elementary School on the Hilltop in Tacoma.   

The boys have kept us busy all these years with their music, sports and school events.  Now the younger three will be in college this fall and all four of them are home this summer. 

For those of you who knew my parents; my mother passed away in 1998 (age 82) and my father in 2003 (age 89). 

We are really looking forward to seeing everyone at the reunion next month!
