| The Star-Lite drive-In theater offered Sunrise services on Easter Sunday, April 21, 1957. Rows of cars are lined up next to car speakers which would enable them to hear the service. Those attending heard Dr. Fulton C. Lytle, guest speaker, and listened to singing by a men's chorus. The Star-Lite was the second drive-in built in the Tacoma area; it opened in May, 1948.
