LiveJournal is a forum in which you can create your own web log, as detailed or as sketchy as you choose.  Some people never post on their own LJs - some people post several times a day.  Some tell their life stories, some never include personal details.  It's what you make it.

LiveJournal communities are groups of people with something in common (like, for instance, graduating from Clover Park in 1965).  Once you get your free login at livejournal.com (it's pretty self-explanatory) request membership in the cp65 community, and then you can post just like you do on the web site, but people can reply in comments to that post and carry on entire conversations, all linked to the original post.  Very interactive and cool!!!!
